Project context.
Krystal's 40th was not the kind of birthday you quietly document from the corner. It was feathers, pearls, boat-deck glamour, champagne, wild little moments and a crowd that clearly came ready to celebrate her properly. Because Krystal is a photographer herself, the brief had an extra layer: make it feel fun and alive, but make it good. The coverage needed to move from polished portraits and couple moments through to group chaos, speeches, cake, dancing and all the in-between frames that only happen when people forget the camera is there.

The final gallery feels like the party had a pulse: elegant when it needed to be, loose when the drinks and glow sticks came out, and full of the people who made the night feel like Krystal. It gave her a proper record of the celebration, not just proof that it happened. For a client who knows photography from the inside, the win was a gallery that still felt surprising, generous and genuinely fun.
