For most corporate headshots, block colours are your friend. They keep the focus on your face and avoid distractions.

Avoid heavy patterns, fine stripes and anything that feels uncomfortable. If you feel awkward in it, the camera usually knows.

Bring a backup option if you are unsure. A small change in jacket, shirt or accessory can make a big difference.
